I completed my Pediatric Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY, and Fellowship in Endocrinology at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. I gained invaluable clinical experience as a faculty member at the University of Louisville, KY. I am presently an Assistant professor of Pediatrics (clinician-educator track) in the division of Pediatric Endocrinology at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
At CHLA, I started a specialty clinic for endocrine issues in childhood cancer survivors, which is an area I am very passionate about. As the secretary for the PES TREND-SIG (Tumor-related Endocrine and Neuroendocrine Disorders Special Interest Group), I been involved in conceptualizing and managing the SIG.
I have a graduate certificate in Health Professions Education, and currently pursuing a Masters in Academic Medicine at USC.
I am a member of the Department of Pediatrics DEI consortium at CHLA.
I help manage social media for the Pediatric Endocrine Society (PES) and networking for the Southern California Organization of Pediatric Endocrinologists (SCOPE).
I am a senior editor for the journal Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Case Reports.
I was recently selected as a Doximity Op-Med fellow, which I am hoping will allow me to explore the joys of non-academic writing. I enjoy fostering dogs, going on long hikes, and making silly Instagram Reels with my husband, Adi.
